It’s summer in New Hampshire and the process of opening up is well underway. The Lyme Inn is now open and is excited to welcome visitors back to the area.
Ariana’s Restaurant at the Lyme Inn never stopped preparing their amazing food.
Chef Martin and his team started offering meals to go immediately after our governor stopped in-house dining in March. The meals-to-go option continues but Ariana’s is now able to offer in-house dining, following all current regulations, and outdoor dining under an open tent in our front garden.
And Lyme has more to offer.
Stellas and
Latham House Tavern offer meals to go and in-house and outdoor dining. The
Lyme Country Store offers food to go, groceries, and other merchandise including locally made hand sanitizer.
With summer comes many outdoor options including hiking the Appalachian Trail, bicycling our beautiful roads, mountain bicycling at
Greens Woodlands, swimming at
Post Pond, scenic walks through our lovely town, and more.
Holts Ledge, here in Lyme, offers hiking and great views. This easy 2.2 mile hike takes you to the top of a cliff in which Peregrine Falcons nest. The
Edgell Covered Bridge, on a charming back road in Lyme, is beautifully constructed with latticework interior, and is worth a visit.
Our Connecticut River Valley location allows for a variety of boating options and makes a great base for road trips to the
White Mountains of New Hampshire which also offers wonderful hiking options.
Looking for a summer getaway? Come to the Lyme Inn and enjoy all our area has to offer.
