This is an absolutely wonderful inn! Beautifully decorated and comfortable rooms, marble bathrooms, wonderful views of a lovely little New Hampshire town, and a superb restaurant downstairs. What more can you ask for? I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. Jack, the innkeeper, was incredibly friendly and helpful—suggesting walks I could take (really beautiful area!), interested in what I was up to (took a class at King Arthur Baking, etc), giving me directions to get to the places I needed to go, etc. The inn is close to Hanover, Norwich, Quechee, Woodstock—all places I went and explored from my base in Lyme. The inn is very quiet, with an elevator, and is located in a really beautiful area. If you’re there on a night Ariana’s downstairs is closed, get takeout from Stella’s down the street (also excellent). I’d recommend this inn without hesitation and am already making plans to go back.
