Winter Wonderland

Temperatures have dropped and snow has fallen. Our winter wonderland is here, and there’s nothing like a New England winter!

The Lyme Inn is located in Lyme, NH, one of several towns that make up the Upper Valley area of New Hampshire and Vermont. The heart of the Upper Valley includes Dartmouth College, Dartmouth Medical Center, and several tech companies, all of which have helped create a community with diverse activities, including dining from Nepalese cuisine at Basecamp to several pizza restaurants, entertainment spanning nationwide tours to small local theatre, baking classes at King Arthur Flour, and cool things to do with kids at the Montshire Museum of Science and VINS, among others. The Upper Valley has several ski areas, and snowmobile trails abound.

Short trips beyond the Upper Valley take you to the spectacular New Hampshire Ice Castles, the beautiful White and Green Mountains, great skiing, chowder festivals, breweries, and more.

The Lyme Inn is a great central point from which to start your winter adventures. Located on the Lyme town green, the Inn offers nine rooms (king, queen, and two full bed options), five suites, and a self-contained cottage. Rooms have Keurig coffeemakers and k-cups, microwaves, and mini fridges. A light breakfast is available, and housed at the Inn is Ariana’s Restaurant, one of the most popular restaurants in the area. Reservations are highly recommended.

Come to the Lyme Inn and the Upper Valley, and enjoy our winter wonderland!
